No employees, shareholders or members of any competing entity (online recruitment)
are entitled to register as users of this site or make use of any information or
images on the site.
Registered users may download or transmit to themselves only images hosted on this
website. They may not forward such images to any other persons and they may not
publish such images in any other medium save if the image is their own personal
image and in the event that written permission is obtained by the registered user
from any other persons whose image appears in such images. Disclaimer JobPortal
is not to be considered to be a Recruiter and/or Employer with respect to the use
of the website and shall not be responsible for any user entering into any agreements
or making decisions of whatever nature resulting from the posting of jobs, resumes
and/or any other information obtained on the website.
The website and material are provided on an "as is" basis without any warranties
of whatsoever nature. JobPortal hereby makes no warranties, whether express or implied,
including the warranty of merchantability, quality, fitness for particular purpose
and non-infringement. JobPortal makes no warranties about the accuracy, reliability,
completeness or timeliness of the material, services, software, text, graphics and
links set out on the website.
Disclaimer of Consequential Damages.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY, ITS SUPPLIERS, OR ANY THIRD PARTIES MENTIONED ON

Specific Prohibited Uses.
JobPortal may be used only for lawful purposes by individuals seeking employment
and career information and employers seeking employees. The Company specifically
prohibits any use of the Web Site, and all users agree not to use the Web Site,
for any of the following:
Posting any incomplete, false or inaccurate biographical information or information
which is not your own accurate resume (living individual seeking employment on a
full-time or part-time basis on his or her own behalf).
Posting any franchise, pyramid scheme, "club membership", distributorship or sales
representative agency arrangement or other business opportunity which requires an
up front or periodic payment, pays commissions only (except for postings that make
clear that the available job pays commission only and clearly describes the product
or service that the job seeker would be selling, in which case such postings are
permissible), requires recruitment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents.
Posting jobs for Modeling or Talent or Talent Scouting positions. JobPortal does
not provide services for companies that offer this type of employment.
Using the JobPortal Resume Database for any purpose other than as an employer seeking
employees, including but not limited to using the information in the Resume Database
to sell or promote any products or services.
Sending unsolicited mail or e-mail, making unsolicited phone calls or sending unsolicited
faxes regarding promotions and/or advertising of products or services to a user
of a JobPortal
Deleting or revising any material posted by any other person or entity.
Using any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with
the proper working of JobPortal or any activity being conducted on this site.
Taking any action which imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load
on JobPortal Site's infrastructure. If You have a password allowing access to a
non-public area of this Web Site, disclosing to or sharing your password with any
third parties or using your password for any unauthorized purpose.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, using or attempting to
use any engine, software, tool, agent or other device or mechanism (including without
limitation browsers, spiders, robots, avatars or intelligent agents) to navigate
or search JobPortal other than the search engine and search agents available from
the Company on such JobPortal Site and other than generally available third party
web browsers (e.g., Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Explorer). Attempting to decipher,
decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or in
any way making up a part of the JobPortal Site.
Aggregating, copying or duplicating in any manner any of the Web Site Content or
information available from JobPortal. Framing of or linking to any of the Web Site
Content or information available from JobPortal.
Competition Rules:
All competitions run on the site will be governed by the rules of the competition
and the terms and conditions of this website. The decision of JobPortal, or judges
appointed by it in competitions, is final and no correspondence can be entered into.
Voting is taken into consideration when such decision is reached. JobPortal's decision,
or that of its judges or system administrator, in such circumstances is final and
no correspondence will be entered into.
SMS:
JobPortal has the right to SMS the member once registered on JobPortal. The permission
and consent granted to JobPortal to send SMS shall remain in force for an indefinite
period until terminated by either party giving to the other one calendar month notice
in writing of termination.
SMS SUBSCRIPTION:
JobPortal has the right to charge you (the user, job seeker, CV holder) R2,50 per
month for your subscription to the website. This amount will be deducted directly
from the users cell phone on completion of their CV registration process.When the
user de-activates their CV on JobPortal, it is the reponsiblity of the user to sms
unsubscribe or de-activate to 39134 in order for JobPortal to stop the billing process.
In the event that the user doesn't or forgets to unsubscribe, JobPortal will have
no legal or financial obligation to remunerate the user for any previous or future
financial amounts related to the user via his/her sms subscription to the website.
Email:
JobPortal has the right to email the member once registered on JobPortal. The permission
and consent granted to JobPortal to send Email's shall remain in force for an indefinite
period until terminated by either party giving to the other one calendar month notice
in writing of termination.Once a person has registered and become a member on the
JobPortal site, he accepts the receiving of any advertising material in the form
of emails whether its JobPortal related or not.
Choice of Law:
This Website is controlled, operated and administered by the Provider from its offices
as set out below within the Republic of South Africa. The Providers make no representation
that the content is appropriate or available for use in the locations or countries.
Access to the Website from territories or countries where the content is illegal
is prohibited. The User may not use this Website in violation of South African export
laws and regulations. If the User accesses this Website from locations outside South
Africa, that User is responsible for compliance with all local laws. These terms
and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and
the User consents to the jurisdiction of the Grahamstown High Court in the event
of any dispute. If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are found
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision
shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to give effect to the
intent of these terms and conditions, and the remainder of these terms and conditions
shall continue in full force and effect. These terms and conditions constitutes
the entire agreement between the Provider and the User with regard to the use of
the content and this Website.

terms of use. By using such areas, or any part thereof, You agree to be bound by
the additional terms of use applicable to such areas.
